Control-M for Hadoop is an Application Plug-in that connects to the Hadoop framework, enabling the distributed processing of large data sets across clusters of commodity servers. The Hadoop Plug-in is available only for Linux, not Windows.
Control-M for Hadoop enables you to perform the following configuration and administrative tasks in the Configuration domain:

Create, update, delete, test, and duplicate connection profiles, as described in Creating a Centralized Connection Profile.

Configure Control-M for Hadoop settings, as described in Hadoop Connection Profile Parameters.

Configure Control-M for Hadoop configuration parameters, as described in Configuring Control-M for Hadoop Parameters.

Configure Control-M for Hadoop to work in a secure for Hadoop environment (Kerberos), as described in Control-M for Hadoop Kerberos Configuration.

Configure Control-M for Hadoop to fetch Oozie workflows and push the actions of each workflow as submitted jobs using the Oozie Extractor, as described in Configuring the Oozie Extractor.
